CARO PETERSEN
ABOUT ME
Born in Denmark and raised in Brazil, I spent my life moving between two distinct cultures, absorbing their richness and diversity. I grew up as a free spirit, encouraged to explore creativity in all its forms—from dance and music to theater and visual arts. This freedom to experiment shaped me into the multidisciplinary artist I am today.

In 2019, I completed my bachelor’s degree in Social Communication at UFRJ, specializing in audiovisual production. This gave me invaluable insight into both the creative and production sides of art—where imagination meets the hard work needed to bring projects to life. I’ve always loved taking on leadership roles, solving problems, and coordinating teams to create innovative, meaningful projects that uplift and showcase emerging artists.
In 2021, I returned to Denmark to welcome my daughter. The shift from a fast-paced production life to the stillness of pregnancy gave me time to reflect and dive deeper into my own creative practice. While stepping away from my producer role was difficult, it allowed me to better understand myself as an artist, ultimately bringing me closer to the artistic producer I aspire to be. Today, my work reflects my core values of freedom, joy, and self-expression. Whether I’m creating visual art, producing films, or curating cultural events, I strive to connect, inspire, and challenge the world around me. I invite you to explore my portfolio and join me on this journey of artistic exploration.
